Subject
Preferred First Name's 30 day check-in

Hi Manager's First Name,

Preferred First Name Last Name has been at Forward for 30 days. This is a great moment for a dedicated check-in, separate from your regular 1:1.

Questions to cover

  • How has your first month compared to what you expected?
  • What's been the most helpful part of onboarding? What's been confusing?
  • Do you have everything you need: tools, access, training?
  • Who else would be useful for you to meet?
  • What would you like to focus on in the next 30 days?

Before you meet

Agree on two or three goals for days 30 to 60, and write them down together so you can revisit them at the 60 day check-in.
